My gums bleed when I brush. Is that serious?

It is usually early gum disease (gingivitis), which is fully reversible with professional cleaning and good home care. Left untreated it can progress, so an early visit matters.

Is deep cleaning painful?

It is done under local anaesthesia where needed, so the procedure itself is comfortable. Mild sensitivity for a few days is normal.

Can receding gums grow back?

Lost gum does not regrow on its own, but grafting procedures can restore coverage in many cases.
